I then selectively removed certain tree models from EVT that I wanted S3DT to handle. I had to replace all of the EVT meshes and lods for trees that were NOT snow covered with those that were. I ended up using a combination of Enhanced Vanilla Trees and Skyrim 3D Trees. I basically didnt want to see rain ANYWHERE.įor other terrain changes I used Fluffy Snow, Majestic Mountains (with the Fluffy Snow Patch), and Snowy AF Windhelm.

I know Climates of Tamriel has a Winter thing, but it didn't look nearly as good as Enhanced Landscapes - Winter and it still allowed rain. These Enhanced Landscape mods also change the temperature in a way that is Frostfall compatible, so that's a major plus. You could patch any of those mods, i suppose, but it would take some time. Every time I tried to use Dolomite, Climates, or Obsidian, I ended up with rain in snowy areas. Funny? Very much so! Immersion Breaking? Very much so! Another downside is that you can't make the weather changes from this mod work with other weather mods. In some bandit camps, I was able to push enemies into the "Upside Down" via "cracks" in the ground. There were some terrain changes between Oldrim and SSE that lead to me being able to see ground seams. I think this was ultimately the source of my problem. I started out by porting both of these mods from Oldrim to SSE.

I went down this road, and it only lead to annoyance, but I'll give you an idea of how I did it and what problems I was dealing with before I gave up.
